A Doctor’s House Special
This is a two part mural I did for bar, restaurant, shop and hotel - The Doctor’s House in Madiha, Sri Lanka.
The front of the wall features a squid and a Barramundi fish which is a play on the owner’s nicknames Squid and Barra. The side wall features a Whale Shark carrying the building of The Doctor’s House on it’s back, a Spotted Eagle Ray swimming alongside it and a Blue Marlin swimming upstream.
This is the last mural I did in Sri Lanka.

In a lot of ways the pandemic and subsequent lockdown were pretty hard to deal with. But the fact that we were all been going through it together somehow helped lessen the anxiety. I created this illustration celebrating the ones who flatten the curve by staying home and our 'togetherness' in doing so. Then I decided to paint it on a wall in my yard. My first mural ever. I learnt a lot, had fun, got dirty and smelly and now I want to paint on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING in sight!
